Teach English in Slovakia

Slovakia has been gaining in popularity over the past decade with international teachers.

This country once formed part of Czechoslovakia, and is a scenic mountainous country with lots of spectacular national parks and UNESCO-protected sites. Slovakia is a dream TEFL destination for anyone with a love for the outdoors. Although salaries for teaching here aren’t the highest in Europe, the cost of living is very low.

Some companies also offer internships, including TEFL training. You will receive a fully-accredited TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification. You can also independently book a TEFL course prior to your arrival, or you could take an online TEFL certification when you arrive in Slovakia.

We recommend at least a 120 hour course. Upon successful completion of a course, you will receive fully-accredited TEFL certification and reference, recognised worldwide.

Prospective employees already TEFL qualified (120 Hours+) must be willing to demonstrate their teaching skills and will ideally have with previous experience teaching/leading children in the UK or abroad.
